MLB Daily Fantasy Lineup Picks - FanDuel Baseball Advice for 4/13/16

Welcome back to another full day of Daily Fantasy Baseball. We have a full slate today with tourneys starting at 1:10 ET. The majority of pitching options on the docket aren't No.1 ace material, which should lead to a fun day of offense.

It's officially MLB season, and with that comes all sorts of fantasy baseball fun. RotoBaller has you covered with lots of great seasonal league coverage, and also MLB DFS advice to help with your FanDuel lineups.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball MLB lineup picks for FanDuel on 4/13/16. The DFS lineup picks will range from high-priced to low-priced options and identify options who will out-perform their expectations, including sleepers and value plays on FanDuel.

DFS Lineup Stacks to Target for FanDuel

San Francisco Giants

They're playing in Coors Field versus a pitcher (Jordan Lyles) who failed to make it four innings in his 2016 debut. You'll have to pay to play here, but there's enough low-priced pitching but make it work.

LA Dodgers

The Dodgers have not been an offensive juggernaut in 2016 but there's plenty of pop in that lineup. Rubby De La Rosa had a 1.53 HR/9 rate last year,  second worst in baseball. Corey Seager, Chase Utley, Adrian Gonzalez, come on down!

Boston Red Sox

The Red Sox as a whole have dipped in cost on FanDuel but they have an excellent matchup with Ubaldo Jimenez. Jimenez has a 7.26 ERA in 11 career starts versus Boston. Play Boston's top three (Mookie Betts, Dustin Pedroia, Xander Bogaerts) with confidence.

DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider for FanDuel

Stephen Strasburg

Strasburg is the best pitcher on the board facing a minor league team (sorry, Atlanta). Strasburg shut them down in his debut last week, pitching six innings with one run and four strikeouts. Nothing much has changed here and this is the safest play (hello, 50/50 players).

Drew Smyly

FanDuel is wise to keep Smyly semi-expensive ($8,700). Although he allowed three home runs in his last time out versus Toronto, he averaged over a strikeout per inning in 2015 and faces a sputtering Indians offense. He has a difficult pitching matchup with Carlos Carrasco, but I expect the Rays to pull this game out.

A.J. Griffin

Here's your value play. Griffin has battled back from Tommy John surgery and cracked the Rangers rotation this Spring. He allowed three runs on six innings in his debut (first start since September 24, 2013) and faces a Mariners offense he's had success versus in the past. For $6,200, he's a clear tourney play for you Coors stackers.

DFS Infielders to Consider for FanDuel

Catcher (C) - Evan Gattis

Evan Gattis just returned to the lineup yesterday and presents a cheap source of power at $2,600. His price will rise in time due to his power potential.

First Base (1B) - Hanley Ramirez

Ramirez is off to a hot start in 2016, hitting .379 in 29 at-bats. As I mentioned earlier, the Red Sox are a great matchup to target.

Second Base (2B) - Dustin Pedroia

Second base has a lot of tough matchups, but Pedroia is hitting .381 in 21 at-bats lifetime versus Ubaldo Jimenez.

Shortstop (SS) - Eugenio Suarez

Suarez has been off to a great start for Cincinnati, hitting .370  with four home runs. John Lackey is prone to the long ball, and Suarez is batting .286 lifetime versus Lackey.

Third Base (3B) - Adrian Beltre

The man just does not age. He's off to a great start, hitting .294 with two home runs at age 37. He's 4-for-8 lifetime versus Taijuan Walker.

DFS Outfielders to Consider for FanDuel

Giancarlo Stanton

The monster of Miami is off to another great start, jacking one out of Citi Field on Monday while slipping in the batters box. He gets Logan Verrett instead of Jacob deGrom. Take advantage.

Hunter Pence

Coors Field. He hit one out last night. He's 4-for-12 with a homer versus Jordan Lyles. I rest my case.

Lorenzo Cain

Big Daddy Cain smacked one out last night and is 7-for-13 (.538) versus Scott Feldman in his career.
