Charlie Condon 2026 Fantasy Baseball Outlook: Stash-Worthy Power That Will Call Coors Field Home
Colorado Rockies first base/outfield prospect Charlie Condon got a delayed start to the 2025 season after suffering a broken wrist in spring training, however, he settled in at High-A once he returned, recording a .312/.431/.420 slash line in 35 games. That performance earned the former third-overall draft pick a promotion to Double-A, and although the batting average dipped to .235 with a 28.2 percent strikeout rate, his trademark power was on full display with 11 home runs in just 55 games. The Rockies' second-ranked prospect was sent to the Arizona Fall League to make up for lost time, where he slashed .337/.439/.434, and although the AFL is a hitter-friendly league, it's worth noting that his strikeout rate was just 17.9 percent while he walked at a 12.6 percent clip. After ending 2025 on a high note, the former first-rounder will likely begin the year at Triple-A, but he's also been invited to compete for the big league team's first base job this spring, so there's a chance he bypasses Triple-A altogether. Whether it is from the start or later in the year, the 6-foot-6 slugger is expected to make his major league debut in 2026, and with big-time power like his, who will play half of his games at Coors Field, Condon is someone to keep on the fantasy radar. If it is looking like he'll win the job in the spring, there is a case to be made that the potential home run upside makes him worth a flier with a last pick in deep league drafts. Otherwise, power-needy managers should consider stashing the 22-year-old in an NA spot if available.
