Carlos Rodon 2026 Fantasy Baseball Outlook: Looking To Continue Rock-Solid Production
New York Yankees starting pitcher Carlos Rodon isn't the flashiest name to call on draft day, but the left-hander has been a beacon of stability for fantasy managers that utilized him over the last two seasons. Only four pitchers in baseball have thrown more innings than Rodon over the past two years and - while acknowledging wins can be unpredictable - Rodon's 34 wins since 2024 are the most of any starter in that span. All those innings have led to rock-solid fantasy production as last year, over 195.1 innings, Rodon posted a stellar 3.09 ERA and 1.05 WHIP to go along with 9.35 K/9 and a 25.7% K-rate. Fantasy managers shouldn't expect his numbers to be quite that good as his 3.92 SIERA and 3.89 xFIP were much closer to his 2024 ERA of 3.96. However, even if Rodon takes a slight step back from 2025, he should provide plenty of strikeouts and wins as one of the few pitchers to average over six innings per start while averaging over a strikeout-per-inning. He shouldn't be the ace of a fantasy rotation, but Rodon has SP2 value once he recovers from offseason surgery. Expect to stash him on the IL for the first month.
