Week 12 Tight End Rankings Outlooks
Hunter Henry, New England Patriots
New England Patriots tight end Hunter Henry is the TE12 in half-PPR scoring through 11 weeks with 34 catches for 422 yards and four touchdowns on 53 targets. He has not scored in the last three games and has typically been a hit-or-miss TE streamer in fantasy in his career. However, the 30-year-old did have a bounce-back game in last Thursday night's win over the New York Jets, with four catches on six targets for 45 yards. The week before, he disappointed with just one catch for nine yards in the win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Henry will probably remain inconsistent through the end of the year for fantasy purposes, but the upside is real in a Patriots offense that has shown a big jump in quarterback Drake Maye's second season. If you're looking for a TE to stream in Week 12, Henry is an excellent option, as the Bengals defense allows the most fantasy points per game to the position this year.
Juwan Johnson, New Orleans Saints
New Orleans Saints tight end Juwan Johnson scored in back-to-back games before the team's Week 11 bye, establishing a good connection with former college teammate Tyler Shough. It's been a strong four-game stretch for the 29-year-old, totaling 17 receptions for 255 yards and two touchdowns on 23 targets. With Rashid Shaheed dealt to the Seattle Seahawks at the trade deadline, Johnson has the opportunity to establish himself as the No. 2 target earner behind top wideout Chris Olave.
Johnson was the TE2 in PPR points per game (14.2) in the first three weeks of the season before cooling off in the following three contests. However, the Saints' offense is trending up with Shough playing decently well, and Johnson is back on the map as a potential low-end TE1 moving forward. Owned in 35% of ESPN leagues, he is worth adding in 12-team leagues if he is still available.
AJ Barner, Seattle Seahawks
Seattle Seahawks tight end AJ Barner had a breakout game in Week 11 against the Los Angeles Rams, recording 10 catches for 70 yards on 11 targets. The 23-year-old's high-volume outing was a major surprise, as he's cracked four targets just one other time across 10 games played in 2025. Overall, Barner has hauled in 31 catches for 306 yards and four touchdowns on 37 targets. Fantasy managers should not expect double-digit targets for Barner every week, but he's emerged as the most-trusted tight end in a very potent Seattle passing game.
As a touchdown-dependent streamer, Barner could have some value in the right matchups in deeper formats. He's worth targeting on the waiver wire in fantasy leagues with 14 or more teams heading into a Week 12 meeting with the Tennessee Titans.
Dalton Schultz, Houston Texans
Houston Texans tight end Dalton Schultz (shoulder) was listed as a limited practice participant on Monday's estimated injury report, according to ESPN's DJ Bien-Aime. It's an injury that Schultz has been dealing with for the last month, but he's played in the last four games and should be good to go for this Thursday night's tilt against the Buffalo Bills in Week 12, barring a setback. The 29-year-old got off to a slow start in 2025, not going over 39 receiving yards in any of his first four games. Since Week 7, though, he has 30 catches on 41 targets for 303 yards and a touchdown in five games.
Schultz has been heavily involved with quarterback C.J. Stroud (concussion) out of the last two games, too, catching 13 of 20 targets for 104 yards and a score. Even if Stroud is out again this week, Schultz will be on the TE1/2 borderline in fantasy football.
Dalton Kincaid, Buffalo Bills
Buffalo Bills tight end Dalton Kincaid (hamstring) will not practice on Monday, according to head coach Sean McDermott. Kincaid suffered a hamstring injury in Week 10 and wasn't cleared to play in Sunday's win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The 26-year-old has two days left to get back on the practice field, but on a short week, his chances of playing on Thursday night against the Houston Texans could be slim. The Bills listed Kincaid as week-to-week last week, so fantasy managers should be preparing for him to miss a second straight game in Week 12.
With Kincaid sidelined in Week 11, backup Dawson Knox played 75% of the offensive snaps but caught just one of his three targets for 23 yards despite the Bills hanging a 44-spot on the Bucs. If Kincaid misses another game, Knox should be considered a touchdown-dependent TE2 streamer in fantasy football.
George Kittle, San Francisco 49ers
San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle had a vintage game in Week 11, recording six catches for 67 yards and two touchdowns on six targets in his team's 41-22 win over the Arizona Cardinals. Kittle showed off his established chemistry with 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy, who made his first start since Week 4.
The 32-year-old Kittle has now hauled in 27 catches for 251 yards and five touchdowns on 30 targets across six games played this season. He's heating up of late, recording 15 receptions for 151 yards and three scores over the last two weeks. Kittle profiles as a must-start tight end heading into a Week 12 matchup against the Carolina Panthers.
