Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Outlooks
Below are some fantasy football waiver wire outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider adding off waivers in Week 12:
Jayden Reed, WR, Green Bay Packers
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jayden Reed (collarbone, foot) has been on Injured Reserve since Week 2 as he rehabs collarbone and foot injuries. However, Reed is expected to return this season and was reportedly ramping up his rehab leading into Green Bay's Week 11 win over the New York Giants.
The Packers have yet to open Reed's 21-day activation window, so it may still be a few weeks before he retakes the field. Still, fantasy managers with an open IR spot may want to consider stashing the 25-year-old ahead of his eventual return. Across 17 games in 2024, Reed recorded 55 catches for 857 yards and six touchdowns on 75 targets.
When healthy, he'll rejoin a crowded Packers wide receiver room that also includes Romeo Doubs, Christian Watson, Matthew Golden, and Dontayvion Wicks. The Packers host the Minnesota Vikings in Week 12 before traveling to Detroit in Week 13 to take on the Lions on Thanksgiving Day.
Luther Burden III, WR, Chicago Bears
Chicago Bears rookie wide receiver Luther Burden III has been wildly inconsistent in his first year in the league in an offense with weapons galore for second-year quarterback Caleb Williams. The 21-year-old second-round selection out of Missouri only has three games with over 50 receiving yards, has scored just one time (back on Sept. 21), and has three games with negative yardage.
Burden has been extremely hard to trust as a flex option in fantasy leagues as a result, but he might be worth stashing on your bench as we approach the final stretch of the 2025 season. In the last two games, Burden has played over 40% of the offensive snaps for the first time all year, leading to six receptions on eight targets for 78 yards.
In the Week 11 win over the Vikings, he caught three passes for only 27 yards, but his five targets were a season high and tied for second on the team. At only 8% rostered in Yahoo leagues, fantasy managers may want to take a peek at the talented young wideout with upside in an improving offense.
Greg Dortch, WR, Arizona Cardinals
Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Greg Dortch has been a non-factor basically all season until making some noise during Sunday's game. Dortch was asked to step up into a larger role with Marvin Harrison Jr. (appendix) sidelined this weekend.
The 27-year-old delivered as he hauled in all six of his targets for 66 yards and a touchdown in the loss to the San Francisco 49ers. Dortch played a season-high 66 percent of the offensive snaps during this contest.
The veteran possession receiver could be worth snagging off the waiver wire for Week 12, assuming Harrison misses another game.
Tre Tucker, WR, Las Vegas Raiders
Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Tre Tucker found the end zone in Monday night's loss to the Dallas Cowboys, scoring his first touchdown since his breakout eight catch, 145-yard, three touchdown performance in Week 3 against the Washington Commanders.
Tucker caught four of his eight targets for 47 yards and the score in the loss. With Jakobi Meyers traded to the Jaguars at the deadline, Tucker is thrust into the No. 1 wide receiver role and second pass-catching option behind star tight end Brock Bowers.
The 24-year-old wideout finished second on the team in targets behind Bowers (12), and should continue to be involved as the Raiders play catch-up in most of their games.
Kyle Monangai, WR, Chicago Bears
Chicago Bears rookie running back Kyle Monangai has now scored touchdowns in back-to-back weeks as he's earned more work behind starter D'Andre Swift. Monangai was still the clear No.2 back in Week 11 against the Minnesota Vikings, handling 13 touches for 37 yards compared to Swift with 21 for 90, but the rookie is getting valuable touches on the goal line.
The 23-year-old has outcarried Swift three to two inside the 10-yard line in the past two weeks. While Monangai doesn't have the explosiveness to break off long runs, he has standalone value as long as he maintains the work down near the goal line and mixes in with Swift occasionally.
While a breakout seems to be limited by D'Andre Swift's presence, Kyle Monangai remains one of the top handcuffs in fantasy and should be added off the waiver wire in most leagues if available.
Dalton Schultz, TE, Houston Texans
Houston Texans tight end Dalton Schultz (shoulder) was listed as a limited practice participant on Monday's estimated injury report, according to ESPN's DJ Bien-Aime. It's an injury that Schultz has been dealing with for the last month, but he's played in the last four games and should be good to go for this Thursday night's tilt against the Buffalo Bills in Week 12, barring a setback.
The 29-year-old got off to a slow start in 2025, not going over 39 receiving yards in any of his first four games. Since Week 7, though, he has 30 catches on 41 targets for 303 yards and a touchdown in five games.
Schultz has been heavily involved with quarterback C.J. Stroud (concussion) out of the last two games, too, catching 13 of 20 targets for 104 yards and a score. Even if Stroud is out again this week, Schultz will be on the TE1/2 borderline in fantasy football.
