Fantasy Football Matchup Outlooks
Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider starting in Week 10:
Hunter Henry, TE, New England Patriots
New England Patriots tight end Hunter Henry saw his volume rebound in Week 9 against the Atlanta Falcons. Just one week removed from a one-target game, Henry bounced back with six targets, four catches, and 51 receiving yards last Sunday.
All three of these statistics represented his highest mark since Week 3, suggesting that he's back on track as a fantasy-relevant tight end. He ranks as the overall TE9 in PPR leagues this year, mainly operating with a high floor and low ceiling.
After all, he has double-digit fantasy points in only three of nine games this year, as well as 12+ fantasy points just once. Managers should continue to view Henry as a fringe top-10 tight end for Week 10 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Kyle Pitts, TE, Atlanta Falcons
Atlanta Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts Sr. drew another seven targets in Week 9's 24-23 loss to the Patriots, converting them into four catches for 38 yards. While his continued involvement in the passing attack has been a welcome change compared to the underwhelming production of the past few seasons, it hasn't amounted to much for fantasy, as the 25-year-old has just a single touchdown on the season.
Also, although he's on pace for 91 receptions, which would obliterate his previous career high of 68, the 6-foot-6 tight end is pacing for 812 yards, which would be more than last season's 602 yards but would fall well short of his career high of 1,026 that was set in his rookie season of 2021.
Still, with two more red zone targets this past Sunday, the fifth-year pro could be on the verge of his big breakout performance of 2025, and he'll get a favorable matchup against the Colts in Germany this week versus a defense that's yielded a touchdown to an opposing tight end for four straight weeks now.
Juwan Johnson, TE, New Orleans
New Orleans Saints tight end Juwan Johnson has gained more appeal as a starting option this weekend when he lines up with the hosting Carolina Panthers.
The University of Oregon product had a rough three-game stretch from Weeks 4-6 in which he hauled in seven receptions for 50 yards, although he's bounced back over the previous three outings (13/163), and even got back into the end zone for the second time this season -- and first since Week 2.
With ex-teammate Rashid Shaheed gone for Seattle, Johnson should assume the role of the No. 2 pass-catcher behind wide receiver Chris Olave. Production could be inconsistent with rookie QB Tyler Shough manning the helm. However, the opportunity will be there in a Saints offense bereft of weaponry.
T.J. Hockenson, TE, Minnesota Vikings
Minnesota Vikings tight end T.J. Hockenson should be considered a low-end TE2 option with his team taking on the Baltimore Ravens in Week 10. The veteran burned his former team, the Detroit Lions, with a touchdown catch last week, but Minnesota completed only 14 passes for 143 yards behind first-time starting quarterback J.J. McCarthy, albeit in a big victory.
The Ravens currently rank 10th against half-PPR tight ends, and Baltimore has held its past three opponents to an average of 13 points. In McCarthy's three starts this year, Hockenson has a total of 10 targets, and there could be more bumps in the road with what is effectively a rookie quarterback learning on the fly.
Hockenson is still a distant third in the Vikings' passing game pecking order behind receivers Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison, so relying upon the tight end is a tough sell this week.
Isaiah Likely, TE, Baltimore Ravens
Since returning from a foot injury that delayed his start to the 2025 season, Baltimore Ravens tight end Isaiah Likely has seen minimal usage in his team's passing game. Across five games played, the 25-year-old has hauled in eight catches for 86 yards on nine targets.
However, Likely is coming off his best game of the season in Week 9, recording three catches for 60 yards on four targets against the Miami Dolphins. Week 9 was also the first time Likely has shared the field with star Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson for a full game. Across 16 games with Jackson in 2024, Likely recorded 42 catches for 477 yards and six touchdowns on 58 targets.
Likely's fantasy ceiling is limited by the presence of veteran Ravens tight end Mark Andrews. However, his stock is trending upwards heading into a Week 10 matchup against the Minnesota Vikings now that Jackson is back in the fold.
