Week 10 Fantasy Football Tight End Outlooks

Brock Bowers, Las Vegas Raiders

Despite his team's struggles, Las Vegas Raiders right end Brock Bowers is a must-start tight end in a Week 10 matchup against the Denver Broncos. The second-year superstar from Georgia returned from a knee injury with a three-touchdown, week-winning performance last time out, and there's no reason to stray from him against Denver. The Broncos may be one of the best overall defenses in the league, but they've been only middle of the pack against fantasy tight ends.

Further, Vegas shipped out top wide receiver Jakobi Meyers this week, opening the door for Bowers to vacuum even more targets during the remainder of the season. Ranked as RotoBaller's No. 2 overall tight end this week, Bowers should be starting in every format.

Oronde Gadsden, Los Angeles Chargers

Los Angeles Chargers tight end Oronde Gadsden has emerged as one of Justin Herbert's go-to targets in the pass game over the past four weeks. Gadsden leads the Chargers with 377 receiving yards since he became a full-time player in Week 6 and ranks third on the team in targets per game (6.5) behind Keenan Allen (7.8) and Ladd McConkey (9.8).

The 22-year-old has showcased the ability to earn targets as a rookie in a crowded Chargers pass-catching group, as well as strong after-the-catch ability. For teams with a strong tight end already in place, Gadsden is worth starting as a flex given how impressive he's been. The rookie tight end is ranked as RotoBaller's TE4 for Week 10 on Sunday night football against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Theo Johnson, New York Giants

New York Giants tight end Theo Johnson (shoulder) was a limited participant during Wednesday's practice session. It sounds like he's managing a shoulder injury, so he'll get eased into the practice week. Last weekend, Johnson hauled in three of his six targets for 27 yards and a touchdown in the loss to the San Francisco 49ers.

The 24-year-old has scored five touchdowns in his last six games. If he's unable to play, Daniel Bellinger could move into the starting tight end role for the Week 10 matchup against the Chicago Bears. Right now, it seems like Johnson is trending towards playing, but fantasy managers should check back for another update.

Dalton Schultz, Houston Texans

Houston Texans tight end Dalton Schultz (knee, shoulder) was a limited participant during Wednesday's practice session. Unsurprisingly, Schultz is limited to start the week while he continues to deal with lingering injuries. He missed practice time last week as well, but still suited up for the Week 9 loss to the Denver Broncos.

Schultz hauled in six of his eight targets for a season-high 77 yards in the defeat. If he's unable to play, Harrison Bryant would likely be asked to start, but he wouldn't be a recommended fantasy option for the Week 10 matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Evan Engram, Denver Broncos

Denver Broncos tight end Evan Engram has been a tough player to trust in fantasy lineups for the 2025 season, ranking as the TE27 through nine weeks with just one fringe TE1 finish. In last week's matchup against the Broncos, Engram had zero catches on three targets, marking what could be the final straw for fantasy managers trusting in him thus far.

The Houston Texans were one of the most difficult defensive matchups of the schedule, so there could be an opportunity for Engram to bounce back against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 10. With RotoBaller having Engram ranked as the TE23 against the Raiders, it's likely best to look for an option with more upside.

Hunter Henry, New England Patriots

New England Patriots tight end Hunter Henry saw his volume rebound in Week 9 against the Atlanta Falcons. Just one week removed from a one-target game, Henry bounced back with six targets, four catches, and 51 receiving yards last Sunday. All three of these statistics represented his highest mark since Week 3, suggesting that he's back on track as a fantasy-relevant tight end. He ranks as the overall TE9 in PPR leagues this year, mainly operating with a high floor and low ceiling.

After all, he has double-digit fantasy points in only three of nine games this year, as well as 12+ fantasy points just once. Managers should continue to view Henry as a fringe top-10 tight end for Week 10 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Colston Loveland, Chicago Bears

Chicago Bears rookie tight end Colston Loveland broke out in a big way in Week 9, catching six of seven targets for 118 yards and two touchdowns in the Bears' 47-42 win over the Bengals. The highlight came on a 58-yard game-winning touchdown, capping off a monster performance that pushed Chicago to a 5-3 record. With Cole Kmet exiting early due to a concussion, Loveland stepped in as the primary tight end, logging 79% of the offensive snaps.

Now, with Kmet still in concussion protocol entering Week 10, Loveland could once again handle a full workload against the New York Giants, who have allowed the ninth-most passing yards in the NFL this season. If Kmet remains sidelined, Loveland is a must-start fantasy option across all formats, offering TE1 upside in Week 10.
