Los Angeles Chargers running back Kimani Vidal totaled 23 carries, 117 rushing yards, and one rushing touchdown during Thursday's Week 8 win over the Minnesota Vikings. He also caught one of his two targets for an additional 10 receiving yards. The 24-year-old capitalized on a positive game script and turned in a high-volume, high-efficiency performance on primetime.
He has been quite effective since taking over for Omarion Hampton (ankle), averaging 16.7 rushing attempts, 2.7 receptions, 100 scrimmage yards, and 0.7 touchdowns per game over the last three weeks. Los Angeles is rumored to have serious interest in an external running back addition, but until that comes to fruition, Vidal will remain the Bolts' lead back.
He has firmly established himself as the preferred option over Hassan Haskins, who had just one carry for three yards on Thursday Night Football.
Verdict: Top sell-high candidate as his value will drop significantly down the stretch, once Hampton returns
Chris Olave, WR, Saints

According to The Athletic's Dianna Russini, the New Orleans Saints are not expected to trade wide receiver Chris Olave ahead of this year's deadline. Olave is in the final year of his rookie contract, sparking speculation about a potential move, but the Saints reportedly have no plans to deal him and are instead interested in a contract extension for their young star.
Olave has been a target hog in 2025, catching 44 of 71 targets for 440 yards and three touchdowns through seven games. With the Saints committed to keeping him in New Orleans, Olave should continue to dominate the passing volume and profiles as a low-end WR2 for the rest of the fantasy season.
Verdict: Buy for a low-end WR2 price, as Olave could push for low-end WR1 upside on a weekly basis in PPR leagues
Lamar Jackson, QB, Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens are expecting quarterback Lamar Jackson (hamstring) to play on Thursday Night Football against the Miami Dolphins in Week 9, according to Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic. "I feel very confident about it. I expect him to be out there Thursday," head coach John Harbaugh said. Jackson has been out of action since straining his right hamstring in the Week 4 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
It was initially believed that the 28-year-old two-time MVP would be available coming out of the Week 7 bye, but Baltimore held him out for a third straight game this past weekend in the win over the Chicago Bears. But as long as he doesn't aggravate his hamstring in practice on a short week, it's looking like Jackson will play this week against a burnable Dolphins secondary.
If Jackson is back on the field on Thursday night, he'll be a must-start in fantasy lineups.

Jakobi Meyers, WR, Raiders

Multiple NFL teams have "shown interest" in trading for Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Jakobi Meyers, who is in the final year of his contract and has publicly said he still wants to be traded, sources tell Jordan Schultz of FOX Sports. However, teams have "had a hard time getting a clear read on whether Las Vegas is truly willing to move him." The belief is that it would take at least "a Day 2 pick" for the Raiders to even consider moving him.
The 28-year-old missed the Week 7 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs due to knee and toe injuries, but he's expected to be ready to face the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 9 after a bye in Week 8. A change of scenery might be what Meyers needs to get going, as he has a 29-329-0 line through six games in 2025 while working with quarterback Geno Smith.
If Meyers is traded, Tre Tucker and rookies Dont'e Thornton Jr. and Jack Bech would start in three-wide sets for the Raiders.
