Rangers Hire Skip Schumaker as New Manager
The Texas Rangers have hired Skip Schumaker as their new manager on Friday. Schumaker will take over for future Hall of Famer Bruce Bochy in Arlington. Schumaker is fully capable of leading this Rangers club to the postseason. He won National League Manager of the Year during the 2023 season with the Miami Marlins. Sadly, Schumaker was fired the next season after leading the Marlins to an 100-loss season. He spent last season as a special assistant with the Rangers. The 45-year-old is deserving of another chance, so we'll see what he does with it.
