Week 2 Kicker Rankings Outlooks

Cam Little, Jacksonville Jaguars

Jacksonville Jaguars kicker Cam Little has a chance for another good fantasy outing against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 2. Little finished with 14 fantasy points against the Carolina Panthers in Week 1, and this week has the potential to be another high-scoring game for the Jaguars. Whether that leads to field goal attempts is the question, but Little at least proved last week he is capable of high-scoring outings. That makes him a solid full-season kicker to have at the moment. Start Little with confidence in Week 2 in what should be a shootout.

Chad Ryland, Arizona Cardinals

Arizona Cardinals kicker Chad Ryland put together a solid performance in Week 1 after scoring a total of eight points while going 2-for-3 in field goals. He knocked through a 42 and 50-yard field goal, but had a 46-yarder blocked in the fourth quarter. The Cardinals' offense should be able to move the ball down the field again in Week 2 as they take on the Carolina Panthers, who just gave up 26 points to the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 1. This puts Ryland into the K1 category again, especially after registering a K10 finish in that first outing.

Wil Lutz, Denver Broncos

Denver Broncos kicker Wil Lutz was perfect in Week 1, converting all four of his attempts (two field goals, two extra points) in a 20-12 win over the Tennessee Titans. Despite the clean performance, Denver's offensive struggles capped his fantasy output, as he finished just 17th among kickers for the week. Lutz now faces the Indianapolis Colts in a matchup that could be low scoring after both teams' defensive units impressed in their openers. While Lutz entered the year ranked as a top-five option on some fantasy platforms, his Week 2 outlook carries more volatility. He should be viewed as a high-risk, high-reward streamer rather than a locked-in starter.

Joey Slye, Tennessee Titans

Tennessee Titans kicker Joey Slye delivered a huge performance in Week 1, drilling all four of his field goal attempts in a 20-12 loss to the Denver Broncos. The seventh-year veteran, now on his sixth NFL team, accounted for every point the Titans scored. Slye finished with the second-most fantasy points among kickers in the opening week, despite the tough matchup against Denver's defense.

In Week 2, the Titans host the Los Angeles Rams, who just allowed Texans kicker Ka'imi Fairbairn to hit three field goals and finish as a top-five kicker in Week 1. While Slye wasn't on the fantasy radar entering the season, he's emerging as a viable streaming option you can trust this week.

Tyler Loop, Baltimore Ravens

Baltimore Ravens kicker Tyler Loop enjoyed a good start to his NFL career despite the missed extra point against the Buffalo Bills. With 12 fantasy points, he came in as the K7 in his first game after making a 52-yarder and a 49-yarder, along with going four-for-five in extra points.

This offense should have no problem getting the ball into field goal range, especially against the divisional rival, the Cleveland Browns. Loop will remain in the top-ten fantasy kicker conversation unless he proves otherwise, so managers can look to deploy him in lineups again in Week 2.

Harrison Butker, Kansas City Chiefs

Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker will face the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday in Week 2. This Super Bowl rematch could prove beneficial for Butker's fantasy relevance because of the strong Eagles defense. If the Kansas City offense is unable to complete drives, Butker could be asked to pick up the points with his leg.

The veteran kicker knocked through all three of his field goal attempts in their Week 1 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers, but ultimately missed the extra point attempt following a rushing touchdown from Patrick Mahomes in the third quarter. Butker has been one of the most consistent kickers in the league since his debut, and he will hope to continue the trend in Week 2. Butker is ranked K13 in our RotoBaller rankings this week, making him a fringe starter in 12-team leagues.

Brandon Aubrey, Dallas Cowboys

Dallas Cowboys kicker Brandon Aubrey rewarded fantasy managers in Week 1 with an 11-point performance against the Eagles, highlighted by a smooth 50-yard field goal. He's been automatic at home throughout his career, converting 100% of his field-goal attempts in Dallas -- a streak that speaks for itself. The Cowboys clearly trust him in any situation, and fantasy managers can share that confidence.

Aubrey combines long-range leg strength with steady accuracy, making him as reliable as it gets at the kicker position. With Dallas' offense capable of moving the ball and stalling just enough for plenty of field-goal tries, he's set up for another strong outing. Start Aubrey with full confidence as a top-tier kicker. He offers one of the safest floors and plenty of upside every time he takes the field in AT&T Stadium.

Jake Bates, Detroit Lions

Detroit Lions kicker Jake Bates held up his end of the bargain in Week 1 against the Green Bay Packers, nailing both of his field goal attempts and an extra-point try in his team's 27-13 loss. Bates will not have to worry about any potential weather issues in Week 2, as the Lions return home to the domed Ford Field to take on the Chicago Bears. Bates has more career points scored (21) against Chicago than against any other NFL team.

The Lions should also have an easier time moving the football and generating scoring opportunities against the Bears than they did against the Packers. Bates profiles as a low-end top-12 fantasy kicker in Week 2 against Chicago.
