Adolis Garcia Departs Monday with Quad Injury
Texas Rangers outfielder Adolis Garcia (quad) will be evaluated on Tuesday after leaving Monday night's game with a quad issue. He left the game in the ninth inning after beating out a potential double-play grounder. After beating out the grounder, Garcia was checked on by the trainers but remained in the game. He scored on a triple from pinch-hitter Jake Burger, but he was not able to run at full speed and was clearly in pain. After the Rangers tied the game, he was replaced by Alejandro Osuna. Garcia had been hitting the ball extremely well since coming off the injured list with an ankle issue, going 14-for-38 (.368) with four doubles and two homers in his last nine games. The Rangers' lineup has been devastated by injuries in the last few weeks, and they'll hope that Garcia's injury isn't serious enough to require another stint on the injured list.
