Carter Jensen Lanches Two Home Runs on Tuesday
Carter Jensen went 3-for-4 with two home runs during their contest against Triple-A Lehigh Valley. This was the backstop's second-straight multi-hit game and fourth-straight gam tallying at least one hit. The No. 2-ranked prospect in the Kansas City system opened the season playing with Double-A, but was able to make the jump to Triple-A quickly. With Double-A, Jensen held a .292/.360/.420 line with a .780 OPS. Since joinging the top ranks of the Kansas City asystem, Jensen has held a .286/.401/.643 line with an impressive 1.044 OPS. During this 39-game stretch, Jensen has tallied nine doubles and hit 13 long balls. Given his dominant play at Double-A, Jensen could be in the mix to make his MLB debut in the coming weeks.
