George Springer Likely Returning on Saturday
Toronto Blue Jays outfielder George Springer (concussion) appears to be on the verge of returning to the starting lineup. According to Arden Zwelling, Springer will serve as the designated hitter during Friday's game at Triple-A Buffalo. If everything goes well, Springer is expected to rejoin the Blue Jays on Saturday. Springer has been sidelined since August 1 due to a concussion. He has since been cleared of concussion symptoms and began a rehab assignment this week. Fantasy managers should check back on Saturday, but they should get Springer back this weekend.
