Carter Jensen Day-to-Day with Wrist Injury
Carter Jensen (wrist) was held out of the starting nine on Wednesday due to a right wrist contusion. Rogers noted that the backstop sustained this injury during his contest at Triple-A on Tuesday. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his stats in case this injury begins to linger. The 22-year-old opened the regular season with Double-A but needed only 68 games to prove he was ready to join Triple-A Omaha. At Double-A, Jensen held a .292/.360/.420 line with nine doubles and six home runs. Since joining Omaha, Jensen has continued to find success at the plate, holding a .252/.358/.574 slash line with eight doubles, nine home runs, and two stolen bases. He is a prospect to watch as he could push for a late-season MLB debut.
