Mid-Week Waiver Wire Rankings - Fantasy Baseball Pickups Include Bryan Abreu, Luke Keaschall, Owen Caissie, Chase Burns, Samuel Basallo

Bryan Abreu - Fantasy Baseball Rankings, Draft Sleepers, Waiver Wire Pickups

Mid-week fantasy baseball waiver wire rankings for Week 20 (2025). Free-agent hitters and pitchers to add include Bryan Abreu, Luke Keaschall, Owen Caissie, Chase Burns, and Samuel Basallo..

While fantasy football drafts are in full swing, there is still plenty of baseball to be played. The MLB regular season has about six weeks left, and it's time to make that final push to end the season on a high note. At RotoBaller HQ, we are back with more fantasy baseball advice and have recently updated our top 100 hitters and pitchers list for Week 20--August 11 through August 17 to help managers in leagues that allow daily moves. Find out where Bryan Abreu, Luke Keaschall, Owen Caissie, Chase Burns, Samuel Basallo, and Bubba Chandler are listed below.

There are key performances, prospect promotions, and injuries to watch for this week. Houston Astros star closer Josh Hader was placed on the injured list with a left shoulder strain and will be out longer than two weeks. Byran Abreu is expected to be Houston's closer with Hader sidelined, and has been fantastic this season with a 1.64 ERA, 1.05 WHIP, and a 81:25 K:BB across 55 innings. The Cubs promoted top outfield prospect Owen Caissie on Wednesday after slashing .291/.391/.567 with 22 homers, 52 RBI, and 70 runs scored through 402 plate appearances with Triple-A Iowa this season. Minnesota Twins infielder Luke Keaschall has logged four multi-hit efforts over his last seven games and is slashing .340/.417/.566 on the season.

For anyone unfamiliar, we release all sorts of fantasy baseball waiver wire articles every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. As part of that, Nick Mariano releases our waiver wire rankings list on Sundays to help you prioritize which players to target as free-agent adds off waivers. Stay on top of our weekly waiver wire rankings and turn on MLB news alerts to stay ahead of the curve. Once you're done here, check out our fantasy baseball prospects articles for the latest names to stash and pick up.

Fantasy Baseball Waiver Wire Pickups List

Since many fantasy baseball leagues have daily waiver-wire moves or multiple waiver-wire runs per week for adding players, this mid-week rankings list should help you keep track of players emerging in the middle of the week before we reach Sunday. This article will guide you through our weekly ranking of the relevant waiver-wire pickup options, including how to prioritize them for your league (depending on the league size).
