Sungjae Im a Risky Play at BMW Championship
After seven straight events with results of T53 or worse, Sungjae Im has rebounded with finishes of T17 and T27 in his last two starts. He'll look to carry that momentum into the BMW Championship, where he owns four straight top-15 finishes, including a third-place showing in 2021, the last time Caves Valley hosted. The renovated 7,600-yard, par-70 layout will reward both approach play and distance, two areas where Im has struggled this season, ranking 168th on approach and 142nd in driving distance. He does, however, make up strokes around the green, ranking third on tour in that category. Sitting 25th in the FedEx Cup standings, he needs only a steady week to lock up a spot in next week's Tour Championship. At $8,000 on DraftKings, Im can be left on the bench by fantasy managers, as there are stronger options at this price point.
