Grayson Rodriguez has Successful Elbow Surgery
Grayson Rodriguez (elbow) had successful right-elbow debridement surgery to remove a bone spur on Monday with Dr. Keith Meister in Dallas, according to Danielle Allentuck of the Baltimore Banner. Rodriguez is done for the rest of the 2025 season, but the hope is that he'll be ready to go for spring training next year. The 25-year-old will end up not pitching at all for the Orioles this season, but he's hoping to resume throwing sooner than later in order to have a pretty normal offseason heading into 2026. Rodriguez also dealt with a serious lat/shoulder injury in 2024 and basically missed half the season. The former top prospect has a 25.7% strikeout rate in his two big-league seasons of 43 starts and has teased high-end starting pitcher talent, but fantasy managers will be very hesitant due to mounting injury concerns.
