Zavier Scott Leads Vikings In Rushing
Minnesota Vikings running back Zavier Scott finished with 40 yards on seven attempts to lead the team in rushing, and added one catch for 11 yards in a 20-10 victory against Houston on Saturday. The former Maine standout who went undrafted in 2023 has an uphill climb to make the 53-man roster, but certainly made use of his touches Saturday. Minnesota will roll with running backs Aaron Jones and Jordan Mason as their top two options, still carry a fullback in C.J. Ham., and previously have used Ty Chandler as a kick returner. But with Chandler failing to inspire as a runner Saturday, Scott is at least making a case to stick around.
