Brewers Place Logan Henderson on Injured List With Elbow Inflammation
Logan Henderson (elbow) on the 15-day injured list (retroactive to Aug. 4) with right-elbow inflammation and recalled right-hander Tobias Myers from Triple-A Nashville in a corresponding move. Henderson ended up making only one start this past Sunday in place of rookie right-hander Jacob Misiorowski (leg), but now he'll join him on the IL and might not be ready to return in a couple of weeks. In the meantime, Myers will give the Brewers rotation depth until Misiorowski is ready to return from a minor injury. Henderson is in his rookie season in the big leagues but has been strong in the early going with a 3-0 record, 1.78 ERA, 0.99 WHIP and a 33:8 K:BB in 25 1/3 innings pitched over his five starts. However, he may stay down in the minors when he's past his shoulder issue.
