Spencer Jones Swipes a Bag in Fourth Straight Game
Spencer Jones has been in a bit of a slump at the plate but has still made an impact at Triple-A. Over his last four contests, the budding star has stolen at least one base in each game. During this four-game stretch, Jones has gone just 2-for-12 at the dish with no extra-base hits. However, prior to this minor skid, Jones was flashing immense power at the top level of the minor leagues. Through his first 16 games with Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, Jones held an impressive .426/.481/.941 slash line with five doubles and 10 long balls. Earlier this season, Jones spent the first half with Double-A Somerset and launched 16 long balls across a 49-game stint. Even though Aaron Judge is back in action, Jones remains a top hitting prospect to stash as he would carry immense power upside when given the call to the Bronx.
