3 Impact Fantasy Baseball Prospects To Stash - Logan Henderson, Dylan Beavers, Bubba Chandler

Logan Henderson - Fantasy Baseball Waiver Wire Rankings, MLB DFS, MLB Injuries

Three top fantasy baseball prospects - Logan Henderson, Dylan Beavers, Bubba Chandler - that can make big impacts. These MLB prospects are waiver wire pickups or stashes.

Throughout the first half of the season, fantasy managers have seen numerous high-end prospects earn the call to the majors and make an immediate impact. For example, Cincinnati Reds right-hander Chase Burns has flashed elite strikeout upside during his first taste.

In this piece, we will look at three budding prospects who are each flashing elite upside and determine if they should be stashed on our bench.

Should those players be left on the waiver wire, or should fantasy managers add them before their breakout? Let's dive in!

Be sure to check all of our fantasy baseball draft tools and resources:

Logan Henderson, SP, Milwaukee Brewers

Current Level: MLB
Availability: 15% rostered
2025 MLB Stats:21 IP, 1.71 ERA, 0.95 WHIP, 29 SO

For potentially the final time on this list, Logan Henderson will hold the top spot. Before their game on Sunday, the right-hander was recalled from Triple-A as Jacob Misiorowski was placed on the 15-day IL with a leg injury. In this start, Henderson went 4 1/3 innings and did not allow a run, and struck out four.

Through his first four career starts in the major leagues, Henderson posted an impressive 1.71 ERA with a 0.95 WHIP. During these four starts, the right-hander struck out 29 hitters and posted a 7.4% walk rate.

He generated a 32.6% HH% and a 33.3% chase rate, which would have placed him near the top of qualified pitchers if he logged enough innings of work.

However, once Brandon Woodruff returned and due to the emergence of rookie breakout Misiorowski, the Brewers opted to send Henderson back to Triple-A, despite his strong start.

Through his first 38 2/3 innings since returning to Nashville, Henderson continued to find high success, posting a 3.49 ERA with a strong 1.11 WHIP. During this stretch, the No. 90-ranked prospect on MLB.com struck out 40 hitters while allowing only nine free passes.

With Misiorowski now on the IL, fantasy managers should expect him to remain in the majors for the foreseeable future. He is a must-target in all formats.

Dylan Beavers, OF, Baltimore Orioles

Current Level: AAA
Availability: 5% rostered
2025 MLB stats: 84 G, .302/.418/.498, 14 HR, 13 2B, 22 SB

While the flurry of Orioles players traded did not lead to Beavers being called up immediately, his time is coming. Beavers has strung together an impressive season with Triple-A Norfolk and is now on the cusp of his MLB debut. After a bumpy 2024 season, he slashed .242/.342/.408, Beavers have taken a massive leap forward in 2025 and appear to be a different hitter. With some subtle changes in the swing, Beavers puts himself in a good spot to hit every swing.

One slight change from last season is a slightly smaller leg kick. Beavers is getting his foot down much earlier and is timing things up well. His hands are also in a slightly high position at the start of his swing. Last year, Beavers tipped the barrel a bit and had his hands slightly below his shoulders before the start of his swing. This year, his hands are a little above his shoulders before dropping the swing into the slot.

Beavers is up to 14 home runs in 363 trips to the plate, and Beavers looks poised to pass his career-high 15 that he had last year in 531 plate appearances. The contact numbers have taken a leap, and Beavers has seen his strikeout rate fall from 23.5 percent to 17 percent in 2025.

Under the hood, Beavers won't knock your socks off, but he does have respectable numbers. His average exit velocity of 88 mph is average, but the 105.4 90th percentile exit velocity is solid. Being a selective hitter, Beavers picks his spots well and has great launch angles.

The improvements are notable, and Beavers looks ready to play in an Orioles uniform. Expect a call-up to happen in the next two weeks.

Bubba Chandler, SP, Pittsburgh Pirates

Current Level: AAA
Availability: 5% rostered
2025 AAA Stats: 88 IP, 3.58 ERA, 1.36 WHIP, 106 SO, 45 BB

While Konnor Griffin has surpassed the right-hander in the dynasty lens in the Pittsburgh system, Chandler still remains a top stash option for redraft leagues.

Despite his inconsistencies, Chandler still has a clear path to join the major leagues during the final month of the season.

In his most recent outing, the No. 5-ranked prospect in the sport on MLB.com had another disappointing showing as he allowed a hefty five runs and five hits across 5 1/3 innings of work to the high-powered Iowa Cubs. In this start, Chandler served up a hefty four walks and only struck out two. However, in his previous start, Chandler allowed only two runs in 5 2/3 innings and struck out seven, which shows that when he is pitching at his peak, he can be highly effective.

Through five starts in July, Chandler has allowed five runs in two but has gone on to log 17 2/3 innings of two-run ball during his other three outings.

During his first 48 2/3 innings, Chandler appeared to be knocking on the MLB door; the former third-round pick posted an elite 2.03 ERA, 1.07 WHIP, and a 69:21 K:BB. Even though the Pirates promoted fellow pitching prospect Thomas Harrington before him this weekend, Chandler remains a strong stash option in 12+ team formats as he would carry high-end SP4 upside when he was to be given the call.
