The Philadelphia Phillies have placed third baseman Alec Bohm (ribs) on the 10-day injured list with a fractured left rib and recalled infielder/outfielder Weston Wilson from Triple-A Lehigh Valley. Bohm suffered the injury on a hit by pitch last Saturday, causing him to miss two of the Phillies' three games since then. The 28-year-old played Friday, but he aggravated the injury during a loss to the Angels and could now miss a sizable chunk of time. While Edmundo Sosa, Otto Kemp, and Wilson are the in-house candidates to play third during Bohm's absence, the team does have the option of acquiring outside help before the July 31 trade deadline.--Connor Byrne
