Pat Bryant 2025 Fantasy Football Outlook: Third-Round Rookie to Battle for Starting Role in Year 1
Pat Bryant out of Illinois in the third round (74th overall) in April, and the 6-foot-2, 204-pounder will battle for playing time in his first NFL season behind WR1 Courtland Sutton with the likes of Marvin Mims Jr., Devaughn Vele and Troy Franklin. Many folks believed the Broncos reached for Bryant in the third round due to his lack of speed, but he did produce 17 touchdowns in his last two collegiate seasons and has drawn comparisons to Michael Thomas, who had plenty of success under Sean Payton in New Orleans. The 22-year-old's draft placement alone won't guarantee him consistent snaps in his rookie season, but there is opportunity behind Sutton. Bryant isn't an above-average athlete, so the Broncos are apparently banking on his route-running setting him apart at the next level. Fantasy managers in single-year leagues will want to avoid Bryant for now, but he could be a waiver-wire target at some point if he earns a starting role. RotoBaller has Bryant ranked just inside of the top 100 fantasy receivers.
