Nico Hoerner Fills Up the Stat Sheet on Tuesday
Nico Hoerner left his mark on Tuesday’s 8-7 loss against the St. Louis Cardinals, going 3-for-4 with a homer and a steal. Hoerner’s homer came with a runner on base in the sixth inning, and he also singled and scored in the third. The homer was actually Hoerner’s first of the season, as his power has been even more lacking than usual. The 28-year-old is hitting .294 with 42 runs scored, one homer, 33 RBI, and 15 steals in 289 at-bats this season. Hoerner is still a strong option in fantasy due to the high average and speed, but expecting any power whatsoever from him is a mistake.
