Christian Yelich Tallies Career-High Eight RBI
Christian Yelich had a spectacular, and somewhat peculiar, day at the plate on Friday, going 4-for-6 with two doubles and eight RBI in a 17-6 drubbing of the Minnesota Twins. Yelich became the first player since at least 1920 to tally eight or more RBI without hitting a home run, a very bizarre feat. The 33-year-old veteran has been on a roll lately, going 35-for-96 (.365) with seven homers and 26 RBI over the last 30 days. The hot streak has seen his season numbers climb, as Yelich now has a .252 AVG, 35 runs, 14 homers, 52 RBI, and 11 steals. He has a solid chance of going 30/20, and will have good counting stats to back it up. Yelich is a clear must-start outfielder in all fantasy formats.
