Kerry Carpenter Not Expected to Miss Time
Kerry Carpenter (hamstring) made an early exit from Sunday's game against the Chicago Cubs. Carpenter was taken out of the game following a double in the seventh inning. Afterwards, Carpenter admitted that he's still battling through hamstring tightness. That being said, the Tigers are expected to be cautious with Carpenter going forward. The left-handed slugger said he's not expected to miss any action because of the issue. It doesn't appear to be impacting him at the plate at all. Carpenter went 3-for-4 with two doubles during Sunday's win over Chicago.
