Bobby Witt Jr. Busts Out of Slump
Bobby Witt Jr. had a sorely needed big game on Tuesday, going 2-for-4 with a homer and four RBI in a 10-7 win over the St. Louis Cardinals. Witt Jr. smacked a two-run shot in the first inning and then plated two more with a single in the fifth. The 24-year-old superstar hasn't been elite with the bat for a while now, but this performance could lift that weight off his shoulders. Even with the relatively disappointing start, Witt Jr. still has a .287 AVG with 32 runs, seven homers, 35 RBI, and 20 stolen bases. It's still high-end production, but Witt Jr. has another level that he hasn't hit yet this season. If (when?) he does, watch out.
