Konnor Griffin Goes Deep on Friday
Konnor Griffin went 1-for-4 with a home run during their contest against Low-A Clearwater on Friday evening. This outing extended Griffin's current hitting streak to three games. Over his last 13 games, Griffin has only gone hitless once. During this impressive stretch, last year's ninth overall pick has posted a stellar .448/.459/.655 slash line with three doubles, three home runs, and six stolen bases. Through his first 37 games of the campaign with Low-A Bradenton, the Jackson Prep School product has held a .318/.363/.535 slash line with eight doubles, one triple, and eight long balls. If he continues to perform well, he could be in the mix to reach High-A during the second half of the campaign.
