Hideki Matsuyama Misses Cut at PGA Championship
Hideki Matsuyama missed the cut at last week's PGA Championship and will now focus on preparing for this week's Charles Schwab Challenge at Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas. Matsuyama has six top-25 finishes, one win and missed the cut three times in 12 starts this season. Over the past 12 months, Matsuyama ranked in the 98th percentile in proximity to the hole on approach shots from 150-200 yards in the fairway. This is worth pointing out because at last year's Charles Schwab Challenge, over 42% of approach shots came from this distance.
