Cal Raleigh Hits Home Run No. 14 on Friday
Cal Raleigh went 1-for-3 with a walk, a two-run home run, and two runs scored in Friday's 5-1 win over the Padres. The switch-hitter is up to 14 home runs on the year, and with a 99th-percentile 22.7 percent barrel rate, expect many more to come. The 28-year-old is now the author of a .250/.371/.571 slash line with a .402 wOBA and a 170 wRC+ through 43 games played, even swiping five bags thus far (career high is six). It all makes the 6-foot-2 backstop the highest-scoring catcher for fantasy, and he'll take on the Padres' Nick Pivetta on Saturday, whom he is 4-for-10 off of in his career with three of those hits going for home runs, which makes Raleigh a viable -- albeit expensive -- DFS option for that contest.
