Tank Bigsby 2025 Fantasy Football Outlook: Can Bigsby Supplant Travis Etienne As Jacksonville’s RB1?
Tank Bigsby showed signs of life in 2024. He ran for 766 rushing yards and scored seven rushing touchdowns. While he didn't offer much as a receiver, Bigsy did outperform fellow back Travis Etienne as a rusher. Bigsby also finished above Etienne in PFF's rushing grade, PFF's elusive rating, as well as Next Gen Stats' rush yards over expected. The new regime in Jacksonville is reportedly not in love with Etienne either. There are a lot of things working in Bigsby's favor entering the 2025 season. However, he does face more competition for touches in the form of fourth-round rookie Bhayshul Tuten. The new Jaguars regime is reportedly quite bullish on Tuten, and their running backs are a bit of a wildcard with new head coach Liam Coen in town. There are some potential roadblocks for Bigsby, but if Etienne struggles again, don't be shocked if Bigsby eventually emerges as the Jaguars' RB1. He is certainly worth a selection in the latter half of drafts this year. Bigsby is an ideal late-round target for gamers who take a zero running back or hero running back approach in their draft.
