Hollywood Brown is a fantasy football waiver wire pickup option for wide receivers. Target him as a free agent add off waivers for Week 15 of the 2024 NFL season.
BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues (Use IR Slot)
ROSTERED IN: 23% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Hollywood Brown (shoulder) is expected to return to practice this week. While he was initially declared to be out for the season, it actually appears he will have a chance of playing soon. He's a solid player to add to your IR slot in deeper leagues now.

While he may not have much of an impact at any point in the fantasy season, there are leagues that have playoffs that last into Week 18, and if Brown returns to the field before then, he could be a solid emergency starter in an offense that's sorely lacking WR talent.
Kansas City is lacking a WR that's both a solid route-runner, has great speed, and doesn't consistently have gaffes like the rookie Xavier Worthy does. It's possible that Brown could become the favorite target of quarterback Patrick Mahomes II quickly, even over aging veterans DeAndre Hopkins and Travis Kelce.
There isn't much to miss out on by stuffing him into an IR spot on fantasy rosters just in case you have a ton of injuries at some point.

Productive running backs in fantasy football are a dime a dozen, and all those that have starting jobs are drafted in fantasy drafts. For the most part, their direct backups are too. The Houston Texans got blasted in Week 7 by the Seattle Seahawks. Their passing offense has struggled massively this year, with quarterback C.J. Stroud playing poorly.
