ANALYSIS: Wide receiver Jonathan Mingo was traded from the Carolina Panthers to the Dallas Cowboys this morning. The Panthers sent Mingo and a 2025 seventh-round pick to the Cowboys for a 2025 fourth-round pick.

The second-year pro is the WR119 for the year, averaging only 1.8 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. He lost his starting role in Carolina to undrafted free-agent rookie Jalen Coker. However, fantasy players in deeper leagues can add Mingo off the waiver wire as a speculative addition.
Mingo has scored fewer than 4.8 fantasy points in every game this season. However, he has had limited opportunities, seeing more than three targets in 44.4% of the contests. The second-year pro could quickly see an uptick in targets, with the Cowboys lacking proven wide receivers besides CeeDee Lamb.
While Mingo is unlikely to become fantasy-relevant over the final nine weeks of the year, fantasy players in deeper league should take a chance on him surprising everyone in Dallas.
