NFL DFS Lineup Picks For FanDuel, DraftKings - Cardinals vs Chargers MNF Showdown (Week 7)

J.K. Dobbins - Fantasy Football Rankings, NFL Injury News, DFS Lineup Picks

Koby Hanson has his top NFL DFS lineup picks for FanDuel and DraftKings for tonight's Monday Night Football Cardinals vs Chargers showdown slate for Week 7.

Welcome back, RotoBallers! We have a couple of solid Monday Night Football games, so make sure you find the Ravens vs. Buccaneers Shaun Evans is covering after you read this one! We have Justin Herbert and the Los Angeles Chargers taking on Kyler Murray and the Arizona Cardinals for this one. Quite a few guys on the Chargers' side are dealing with some injuries so keep an eye on the injury report when making your lineups.

I'll do my best to provide you with as much analysis as possible regarding positional matchups and it's up to you to try to predict the game script for tonight's contest.

I will provide you with daily fantasy football picks on FanDuel and DraftKings for the Cardinals vs Chargers NFL DFS showdown slate on October 21. These NFL DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on both DraftKings and FanDuel. If you have any questions, follow me on Twitter/X  @DFSKoby and fire away, or sign up for a premium RotoBaller NFL package and chat with me and other NFL DFS analysts whenever you'd like!

MVP/Captain Plays

Kyler Murray - QB, Arizona Cardinals - $16.2K (DK), $16.5K (FD)

Key Stats

  • 2024 Stats: 1,186 passing yards, eight touchdowns, two interceptions, 30 carries, 261 rushing yards, one rushing touchdown

Chargers have a tough defense but Kyler Murray can make plays on the move. The last time Kyler went up against a solid defense was against the 49ers and he was able to get the win there.

The advantage the Cardinals have in this game is they are for the most part healthy. They might have the ball for a lot more than the Chargers if their defense can keep them off the field. This should lead to Kyler Murray getting more opportunities to get something done.

J.K. Dobbins - RB, LA Chargers - $14.7K (DK), $14.5K (FD)

Key Stats

  • 2024 Stats: 81 rushing attempts, 438 rushing yards, three touchdowns, 12 receptions, 50 receiving yards

It's good to see J.K. Dobbins staying healthy this year. He has been very productive this year and with Gus Edwards injured he should see the majority of carries in the offense. The Cardinals are currently giving up the sixth most fantasy points to opposing RBs across the last four weeks.

Dobbins has finished with 18+ in three of five games this year with 90+ rushing yards in those three as well. The Cardinal's run defense is exploitable so hopefully we see Dobbins take advantage.

Other Captains/MVPs: Justin Herbert, Marvin Harrison, Trey McBride

DFS Flex Plays

Trey McBride - WR, Arizona Cardinals - $9.6K (DK), $12K (FD)

Key Stats

  • 2024 Stats: 38 targets, 28 receptions, 271 yards

Trey McBride has been Mr. Consistent for the Cardinals this season. He still hasn't seen the endzone but he has been productive in the field. He leads his team in receptions this season and isn't far behind Marvin Harrison Jr. from leading in yards. The Chargers defense is giving up the 11th most fantasy points to opposing TEs this season which is solid compared to how well they protect against RBs and WRs this season.

Chad Ryland - K, Arizona Cardinals - $4.6K (DK), $9K (FD)

The Chargers' defense has been solid this season especially in the red zone as they have given up the eighth least amount TDs this season at only a 44.44% clip. That being said Chad Ryland has been a solid kicker in Matt Prater's absence.

He is 5/6 on Field Goals this season his long this season is 42 but he does have a career-long of 56 so the leg is there to get the job done. I expect the Cardinals to stall out in the red zone allowing Chad to kick multiple field goals.

Other Flex Options: Ladd McConkey, Michael Wilson, James Conner

DFS Value Plays

Simi Fehoko - WR, LA Chargers - $1.2K (DK), $6K (FD)

The Chargers WR room is ravaged with injury right now, Fehoko looks the most likely to come off the injury report with a couple of full practices on Friday and Saturday. Semi took advantage of his limited playing time last week when Quentin Johnston went down with an injury.

It looks like he is doubtful leading to Simi getting more looks in the offense. He finished last week with two receptions for 44 yards. Simi is very cheap on both sites and should be highly considered on both sites.

Kimani Vidal - RB, LA Chargers - $4.4K (DK), $7.5K (FD)

Kimani showed off last week that he can be utilized in this offense and the Chargers are going to need him with multiple injuries to the offense. Last week he saw six opportunities(four carries and two receptions) and made the most of them getting a touchdown on one of those receptions.

I'm not expecting anything crazy here from him but with how cheap he is, he is worth a shot in a few tournaments. I only expect his workload to go up from here.

Other Value Plays: Joshua Palmer, Will Dissly, Emari Demercado

Enjoy your week, and good luck, everyone!
