Khalil Shakir fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 3 (2024). Should you start or sit Khalil Shakir for fantasy football lineups?
BALLER MOVE: Start in 12+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR3
ANALYSIS: Buffalo Bills wide receiver Khalil Shakir led the team in receptions, yards, and targets in their blowout victory over the Miami Dolphins in Week 2 and should be viewed as a solid WR3 this weekend.
On the season, Shakir has seen the most targets compared to other Buffalo wideouts and is emerging as Josh Allen’s go-to option in the passing game.
So far this season for Khalil Shakir:
8 targets
8 receptions
96 yards
1 TD
156.2 rating when targeted#BillsMafia pic.twitter.com/WhZLTh6Gog— K L (@BuffaloKL) September 18, 2024
This week, Shakir will face the Jacksonville Jaguars, who have allowed the third-most passing yards per game.
The Jaguars have done quite well in limiting the run by allowing an average of just 103.0 rushing yards per game. This could force Buffalo to push the ball through the air and set up Shakir for several opportunities.
Given his role in the offense so far and the potential for a high-scoring affair, Shakir is a WR3 with upside this weekend.
