Washington Capitals right wing T.J. Oshie (back) is set to begin the 2024-25 season on long-term Injured Reserve. The veteran has been troubled by back pain for several years. "The last season was challenging for me, my family, and my teammates as I dealt with a chronic back injury that kept me out of the lineup," Oshie said Wednesday. "I have used the offseason to explore and pursue long-term solutions for my injury. I remain committed to the process and am working and doing my best to regain total health." Oshie hasn't managed more than 58 games in any of the previous four seasons. He skated in 52 contests last term and struggled, recording 12 goals and 13 assists.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
