Minnesota Vikings second-year receiver Jalen Nailor pulled in three receptions for 63 yards on four targets in the opening two drives against the Las Vegas Raiders. The loss of K.J. Osborn in the offseason left the Vikings looking towards an open competition for the third receiver on their depth chart, a critical position as Osborn has played in 75+% of snaps each of the last two seasons with the team. He was given the opportunity in two receiver sets today with Justin Jefferson resting. The 25-year-old rewarded the team with long receptions on the first passes from both quarterbacks he played with, Sam Darnold and J.J. McCarthy, and a clutch 26-yard reception on 3rd-and-10 on the first drive.
