Kansas City Royals first baseman prospect Jac Caglianone has been assigned to High-A Quad Cities and will make his professional debut on Tuesday for the River Bandits. The Royals selected Caglianone with the sixth overall pick in this year's draft, and after spending some time working out with the staff in Arizona, they decided he'd skip over Single-A Columbus. The 21-year-old has big-time power, belting 68 home runs in his final two seasons at Florida. While he was a two-way player there, for now, the Royals will have him focus on hitting, and he has the ability to quickly move through the system, meaning dynasty managers should be keeping a close eye on his ascension.--Jarod Rupp - RotoBallerRead More News
