Jackson Holliday Batting Eighth In Return To Big Leagues
Jackson Holliday will bat eighth for the O's on Wednesday against Toronto. This will be his first MLB appearance since being demoted to Triple-A Bowie in late April. During his first stint in Baltimore, he went just 2-for-34 with 2:18 BB/SO and no extra-base hits. Since then, he's slashed .259/.421/.455 with 20 doubles, eight home runs, seven steals, and 63:69 BB/SO in Triple-A. Now back in the majors, Holliday will look to redeem himself and prove that he can compete at the big-league level. Despite his initial struggles, he still possesses elite offensive prowess. Holliday is currently the top prospect in all of baseball (per MLB.com).
