Salvador Perez Back In The Lineup

Kansas City Royals catcher Salvador Perez is back in the starting lineup on Saturday against the hosting Boston Red Sox and right-hander Kutter Crawford after leaving Friday night's win late due to cramping. Perez will serve as the designated hitter and bat cleanup, with Freddy Fermin doing the catching for right-hander Seth Lugo and hitting seventh. Fantasy managers will want to get Perez back into all of their starting lineups on Saturday, despite the fact that he's gone hitless in five career at-bats against Crawford. The 34-year-old nine-time All-Star is hitting .280/.342/.470 on the year with an .813 OPS, 16 home runs and 61 RBI in 92 games and also brings a six-game hitting streak into Saturday's contest. Perez has gone 8-for-23 (.348) with two homers, seven RBI and four runs scored during his modest hitting streak that began on July 5.
