Atlanta Falcons cornerback A.J. Terrell is scheduled to play on his fifth-year option at $12.3 million this year, but the Falcons are expected to sign him to a second deal before negotiations get tense. While Terrell, the 16th overall pick in 2020, has been good for the Falcons, he's gone two seasons without an interception and has had some rough moments as well. The top of the cornerback market is at $21 million per year, and Terrell's camp is sure to ask for close to that, but the Falcons should push back and hope to come in around the $17 million range, according to The Athletic's Josh Kendall. The 25-year-old finished last year with 45 tackles (34 solo) and 11 pass breakups in 17 games. He's considered one of the better cover corners in the league, but the Falcons probably want to see him force more turnovers if they are going to pay him.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
