Free-agent cornerback Cameron Sutton, who has been wanted for weeks by police in Florida for his alleged involvement in a domestic-violence case, turned himself in on Sunday. Police had been unable to locate Sutton since March 7, when an arrest warrant was issued for him. His initial arrest warrant charged him with a felony, but prosecutors said on Monday that he was being formally charged with misdemeanor battery, which carries a maximum one-year jail sentence. Sutton was released from jail on Monday on his own recognizance. The 29-year-old signed a three-year, $33 million deal with the Detroit Lions last year but was released by the team on March 21, the day after the team found out about the warrant for his arrest.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
