New York Rangers goaltender Igor Shesterkin remained in the zone Wednesday as the Rangers took down the Columbus Blue Jackets by a 4-1 score. The outing marked Shesterkin's sixth consecutive win while he has now allowed one goal or less five times during that stretch. The 2021-2022 Vezina Trophy winner was uncharacteristically scuffling in the season's first half but has been white-hot in February as the Rangers become the first team in the NHL to reach 40 wins. The Russian netminder entered Wednesday's contest sporting a 2.70 goals-against average and a .909 save percentage across 38 starts. The Rangers are next in action Saturday on the road versus the Toronto Maple Leafs.--Brenton Kemp
