Philadelphia Eagles safety Sydney Brown (knee) had successful surgery on his ACL on Saturday. Brown was drafted in the third round out of Illinois in 2023 and had a solid rookie year in the NFL for the Eagles, racking up 45 tackles (32 solo), one interception returned for a touchdown, three passes defensed and a forced fumble in 14 games played (six starts). The 23-year-old suffered a torn ACL in the Week 18 regular season finale against the New York Giants, though, which probably makes it likely that he won't be ready for the start of the 2024 regular season this fall. Once healthy later this year, Brown should be a key contributor once again for an Eagles secondary that needs to improve drastically after a late-season collapse.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
