Week 17 Superflex Rankings for Fantasy Football: C.J. Stroud, Jaren Hall, Jarrett Stidham, Tyrod Taylor, Zamir White, Jayden Reed

C.J. Stroud - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, Waiver Wire Pickups

Week 17 fantasy football superflex rankings (2QB). Set winning lineups with our Week 17 superflex rankings for two-QB leagues.

Welcome back, RotoBallers! Fantasy championship week is here. It's either win big or go home. Injuries continue to change the quarterback landscape. Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence (shoulder) has been ruled out for Sunday's game versus the Panthers. C.J. Beathard will draw for the start for the Jaguars in Week 17. Reinforcements are coming as Houston Texans rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud will return after missing two games due to a concussion. For fantasy managers searching for a streamer in 2QB leagues, we broke it all down for you with our Week 17 fantasy football Superflex rankings (2QB) for fantasy football. For those unfamiliar with superflex leagues, it's a format that allows you to start two quarterbacks but does not require you.

There are more quarterback changes and injuries for fantasy managers to be aware of. Surprisingly, the Broncos will bench Russell Wilson for the next two games and roll with Jarrett Stidham. The Vikings made another change at quarterback and will start Jaren Hall, while the Giants will bench Tommy Devito for Tyrod Taylor. The Commanders still haven't named a starter between Sam Howell and Jacoby Brissett. Below, you can see where RotoBaller has Hall, Stidham, Taylor, and other essential options, such as C.J. Stroud, Zamir White, Jayden Reed, Nico Collins, DJ Moore, Davante Adams, and Isaiah Likely this week.

Our fantasy football superflex rankings for Week 17 are put together by FSWA Hall Of Famer Scott Engel. In addition to our staff rankings, below you will find a summary of this week's important fantasy football injury news. There are always critical injuries to track, so check back until kickoff.

Week 17 Superflex Rankings Analysis

A new feature has been added to our weekly fantasy football rankings article. Below, you will find our fantasy football outlooks or the latest injury news for key options in Week 16, which gives readers a matchup preview of that player and advice on whether to start or avoid for the upcoming week. We provide outlooks for all 32 NFL teams, which can be found on our player profile pages and our fantasy football news desk.

Jaren Hall, QB, Minnesota Vikings
Week 17 Superflex Rankings: 97

Minnesota Vikings quarterback Jaren Hall will start in Week 17 against the Packers, as the rookie gets his second NFL start after he exited his first one due to injury back in Week 9. Hall had 78 passing yards and 11 rushing yards on just 15% of the snaps in his first start, but the BYU product is hard to trust in this one despite a decent matchup at home.

Hall is, at best, a low-end QB2 in superflex leagues, as he could have a depleted supporting cast with T.J. Hockenson (knee) out and Jordan Addison (ankle) questionable.

C.J. Beathard, QB, Jacksonville Jaguars
Week 17 Superflex Rankings: 87

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback C.J. Beathard faces the Carolina Panthers in a Week 17 matchup. QB1 Trevor Lawrence (shoulder) has been dealing with a new injury every week, it seems and was ruled out on Friday, giving Beathard the start. While the career backup has filled in admirably thus far when Lawrence was forced out of games, the matchup this week is one of the least favorable for opposing quarterbacks.

Carolina ranks 3rd against the position in fantasy points and passing yards allowed and tied for fourth in touchdowns conceded. The Panthers have one of the weakest run defenses in the game, which likely means a heavy dose of Travis Etienne, putting Beathard squarely off the fantasy radar this Sunday.

Jarrett Stidham, QB, Denver Broncos
Week 17 Superflex Rankings: 57

The Denver Broncos made headlines earlier this week when they announced they'd be benching quarterback Russell Wilson in favor of Jarrett Stidham for the final two regular-season games due to financial reasons heading into the offseason. Stidham has a very favorable matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers, but fantasy managers would have to be downright desperate to consider using the 27-year-old as their QB2 in superflex leagues in Week 17. He has taken all of four offensive snaps this year.

Stidham started two games for the Las Vegas Raiders at the end of last season, going 45-for-70 for 584 yards, four touchdowns, and three interceptions while running with the ball 14 times for 84 yards. Stidham looked half-decent in that two-game audition in 2022, but he's going to be without No. 1 wideout Courtland Sutton (concussion) and could also be missing Jerry Jeudy (illness) and rookie receiver Marvin Mims Jr. (hamstring).

David Montgomery, RB, Detroit Lions
Week 17 Superflex Rankings: 64

Detroit Lions running back David Montgomery has seen his fantasy ceiling take a hit with the emergence of rookie Jahmyr Gibbs, but he still has plenty of value at the tricky RB spot. Gibbs has been electric over the last three weeks, but Montgomery has still handled 51 touches for 236 yards and a touchdown during that stretch.

Ultimately, Montgomery has become more touchdown-dependent than ever, but he does just enough in the receiving game to have a solid floor in PPR formats. Unless a fantasy manager is loaded at running back, he's still worth starting as a low-end RB2 in the Week 17 matchup against the Dallas Cowboys.

DJ Moore, WR, Chicago Bears
Week 17 Superflex Rankings: 38

Chicago Bears wide receiver DJ Moore suffered an ankle injury in the team's Week 16 win over the Cardinals but returned to the game. The former Panther was not on the injury report Wednesday, meaning he will head into Week 17 without an injury designation. Moore was held to his worst fantasy output since Week 1, catching just three of six targets for a season-low 18 yards. Prior to a rough two-game stretch, the star receiver had at least 20 PPR points in five straight games with Justin Fields healthy.

The last two games have been lackluster, but one was a matchup against the best defense in football, and the other he dealt with an ankle injury. The Bears take on the Falcons in Week 17, who allow the third-fewest points per game to receivers this season. Moore ranks as a low-end WR2 in a tough matchup versus Atlanta.
