Kyren Williams' fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 12 (2023). Our advice on whether you should start or sit Kyren Williams for fantasy lineups.
BALLER MOVE: Start in 10+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: RB2
ANALYSIS: Los Angeles Rams running back Kyren Williams had zero fantasy football value entering the year. Cam Akers was the projected featured running back for the Rams. Yet, the second-year player stole the show in Week 1, totaling 15 rushing attempts for 52 yards, two touchdowns, and 17.4 half-point PPR fantasy points.
Williams became the featured back from that point forward. He is the RB25 for the year, averaging 17.4 fantasy points per game, scoring 21 or more in half of the matchups.
Unfortunately, the second-year player suffered an ankle injury in the Week 6 win over the Arizona Cardinals and got placed on the injured reserve list. Thankfully, Williams returned to practice today and should play Sunday in the rematch against the NFC West division rivals.
The former Notre Dame running back couldn’t have returned at a better time. Arizona has surrendered 24.1 fantasy points per game to running backs this season, the third-most in the NFL. They have given up at least 91 rushing yards and a touchdown to running backs in five of the past six contests, including four straight. Williams is a borderline must-start RB2 in Week 12.
