Kadarius Toney's fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 11 (2023). Our advice on whether you should start or sit Kadarius Toney for fantasy lineups.
BALLER MOVE: Sit in 16+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR6
ANALYSIS: Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Kadarius Toney had high hopes entering the NFL as a first-round pick. Unfortunately, he hasn’t lived up to expectations. Furthermore, the fantasy football world reignited those high hopes after the former Gator got traded to Kansas City from the New York Giants. Yet, Toney hasn’t had consistent fantasy production ever in his career.
The veteran wide receiver is the WR103 for the year, averaging only 3.1 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. He has scored fewer than eight fantasy points in every game this season.
Furthermore, Toney has more games this year with fewer than one fantasy point (three) than games with more than 5.3 (two). The wide receiver has only 20 receptions on 28 targets for 127 receiving yards and a touchdown in 2023, playing behind multiple wide receivers on a weekly basis.
However, Toney does have a fantasy-friendly matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles. They have surrendered 39.1 fantasy points per game to wide receivers, the most in the NFL. The Eagles have also given up the most receiving touchdowns to the position.
While he isn’t startable in season-long leagues, the wide receiver is a possible DFS or betting option because of the matchup.
