The New England Patriots are waiving cornerback Jack Jones on Monday, according to his agent. Jones, a fourth-round selection in last year's draft, played only 10 snaps on defense in the Week 10 loss to the Indianapolis Colts in Germany on Sunday. Jones has missed five games this year due to a hamstring injury that caused him to land on Injured Reserve, and he's seen his playing time decrease since coming back in Week 7. In 18 total games (two starts) for New England the last two seasons, he has 42 tackles (33 solo), three tackles for loss, two interceptions (one returned for a touchdown), seven passes defensed, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery. The 25-year-old should be able to latch on with another team quickly.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
