BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 58% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: The New York Jets entered the 2023 season as legitimate Super Bowl contenders after adding Aaron Rodgers, but we all know what happened next. Still, they have playoff aspirations despite having Zach Wilson under center due to their defense.
This was the case for 2022 as well, as their defense ranked second in least points allowed per drive. They currently sit at 11th in this category, but that's mostly inflated due to a poor performance against a Cowboys team that has scored the fifth-most points in the league this year.

This has caused their defense to become slightly underrated, and if you need a reminder as to how dominant they are, look no further than their performances against the Bills (third in points per drive), Chiefs (fourth), and Eagles (fifth). They gave up just 16, 23, and 14 points to them respectively.
This defense has everything; from a relentless pass rush led by their star-studded defensive line to their incredible pass coverage. They are currently tied with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for the most takeaways per game, with 13 takeaways in six games.
Their upcoming schedule is quite easy, too. Their next game will be against their neighbors, the Giants, who are currently dead-last in points per drive. They will also face the Raiders (22nd), the Falcons (25th), the Commanders (21st), the Browns (23rd), and the Patriots (30th). Their games versus Washington and Cleveland will be during the fantasy playoff weeks, and while they will play Miami at the start of the playoffs, we've seen that this defense is capable of shutting down a great offense.
