ANALYSIS: Darrell Henderson reunited with the Los Angeles Rams just five days before the Week 7 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Now, he's expected to share the backfield with veteran Royce Freeman right away.
With Kyren Williams (ankle) and Ronnie Rivers (knee) on Injured Reserve, Henderson could have real fantasy value for at least a month. Rookie Zach Evans is reportedly going to back up both veterans, and Henderson has the most experience in Sean McVay's system.
While the entire Rams' backfield is risky since we don't know who will see the most valuable touches, they draw a great matchup against the Steelers. Mike Tomlin's defense has allowed the seventh-most fantasy points per game heading into Week 7.
Fantasy managers in a tough spot at running back might want to roll the dice on Henderson in this spot. Over the last two seasons, he has finished as at least an RB2 11 times.
